Представники ГО «ВГО «Поруч», які цими днями перебувають у шведському місті Мальмо, стали волонтерами на XXI міжнародному паралімпійському турнірі з голболу «Intercup», що пройшов тут із 6 по 8 травня. Його учасниками стали спортсмени-паралімпійці з Греції, Іспанії, Данії, Ізраїлю, США, Великої Британії, Фінляндії, Франції, Японії та Бразилії. На жаль, команда України, яка попередньо також була у складі учасників, через війну не змогла приїхати на ці змагання.
Завдяки приймальній організації FIFH Malmö Parasport, з турніру цього року було виключено участь Росії та Білорусі на локальному, національному й міжнародному рівнях.

Окрім спортивних заходів і численних інтерв’ю, які транслювалися через стрімінг на каналі «Ютуб», організатори передбачили й церемонію вшанування України, чиї спортсмени, як і вся країна, зараз протистоять навалі підступного ворога: хтось у лавах збройних сил; хтось, зберігаючи життя близьких у бомбосховищах і підвалах, де люди вимушені ховатися місяцями від авіабомб і снарядів; хтось роботою в тилу, а хтось — твердою непокорою загарбникам на тимчасово окупованих рашистами територіях.
У день відкриття турніру до його учасників і гостей від імені нашої країни в режимі онлайн звернулася Віцепрем’єр-міністр з питань європейської та євроатлантичної інтеграції України Ольга Стефанішина. Вона привітала всіх присутніх, побажала спортсменам, які сьогодні своєю силою волі та прагненням лише мирних перемог є взірцем для всього світу, успіхів і нових звершень. Також вона коротко описала ті жорсткі й трагічні обставини, які переживає нині весь український народ і висловила тверду впевненість, що українці, за підтримки цивілізованого світу, обов’язково переможуть цю навалу й українські паралімпійці обов’язково завітають на наступний, 22-й турнір «Intercup». Також вона наголосила на особливій важливості підтримки людей з інвалідністю, паралімпійців у їхній постійній боротьбі за рівні можливості. «Для України це як ніколи актуально, адже війна досі триває і кількість її жертв збільшується щодня, навіть у цей момент, коли я спілкуюся з вами, — зазначила О. Стефанішина. — Тому вже зараз дуже цінно пробудити інтерес громадськості до досягнень паралімпійців, що надихають світ ніколи не здаватися, долати бар’єри та досягати мети».
«Забезпечити доступ для людей з інвалідністю, зокрема до занять спортом, буде одним з головних завдань після закінчення війни в Україні» — акцентувала наша віцепрем’єр-міністерка.

По закінченні промови О. Стефанішиної всі присутні в залі піднялися зі своїх місць і щирими гучними оплесками висловили свою одностайну підтримку стражденної, але не скореної України, яка продовжує запеклу справедливу боротьбу за свободу та мир на своїй землі, одночасно виборюючи перемогу засад демократії та загальнолюдських цінностей у всьому світі.

Також вона подякувала громаді Мальмо й зокрема організації FIFH Malmö Parasport за гостинність і душевну теплоту, з якою вони прийняли та розмістили в себе тих українців, що вимушені були покинути свої рідні домівки, шукаючи притулку в місцях без війни та руйнацій (серед яких і чимала кількість українців з інвалідністю), і за відправлення гуманітарної допомоги тим людям, хто залишався в Україні.

Крім того, однією з суддів на турнірі стала наша співвітчизниця Світлана Мороз — суддя з голболу міжнародної категорії ІІІ. Також вона — суддя чемпіонатів України, міжнародних турнірів, чемпіонатів Європи, Африки, Японії, відбіркового турніру до Паралімпійських Ігор, Чемпіонату світу з голболу 2018, Паралімпійських Ігор у Ріо-де-Жанейро 2016, Токіо 2020.

Representatives of the NGO “Poruch”, who are currently in the Swedish city of Malmo, volunteered at the XXI International Paralympic Goalball Tournament “Intercup”, which took place here from 6 to 8 May. Unfortunately, the team of Ukraine, which was previously also part of the participants, could not come to these competitions due to the war.

Thanks to the host organization FIFH Malmö Parasport, the participation of Russia and Belarus at the local, national and international levels was excluded from this year’s tournament.
In addition to sporting events and numerous streaming interviews on YouTube, the organizers also planned a ceremony honoring Ukraine, whose athletes, like the rest of the country, are now facing the onslaught of an insidious enemy: some in the armed forces, some save the lives of loved ones in bomb shelters and basements, where people are forced to hide for months from bombs and shells; some work in the rear, and some show firm disobedience to the invaders in the temporarily occupied territories by Russian fascists.

On the opening day of the tournament, the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna addressed the participants and guests on behalf of our country online. She congratulated all those present and wished the athletes, who today with their strength of will and desire for peaceful victories are a model of success and new achievements for the whole world. She also briefly described the harsh and tragic circumstances facing by the entire Ukrainian people and expressed confidence that Ukrainians, with the support of the civilized world, will definitely overcome this invasion and Ukrainian Paralympians will definitely visit the next, 22nd tournament “Intercup”. She also stressed the importance of supporting people with disabilities, Paralympians in their constant struggle for equal opportunities. “This is more important for Ukraine than ever, because the war is still going on and the number of its victims is increasing every day, even at this time when I am communicating with you,” said O. Stefanishyna. “It is therefore very valuable to arouse public interest in the achievements of the Paralympians, who inspire the world to never give up, to overcome barriers and achieve goals.”

At the end of O. Stefanishyna’s speech, all those present in their halls rose from their seats and with sincere loud applause expressed their unanimous support for the suffering but unconquered Ukraine, which continues the fierce fair fight for freedom and peace on its land. at the same time fighting for the victory of the foundations of democracy and universal values throughout the world.

She also thanked the community of Malmö, and in particular FIFH Malmö Parasport, for the hospitality and warmth with which they received and hosted those Ukrainians who were forced to flee their homes in search of refuge without war and destruction (including many Ukrainians with disabilities), and for sending humanitarian aid to those who remained in Ukraine.
In addition, one of the judges at the tournament was our compatriot Svitlana Moroz. She is a judge of international level III category. She is also a judge of Ukrainian championships, international tournaments, European, African, Japanese championships, qualifying tournament for the Paralympic Games, the 2018 Goalball World Cup, the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016, Tokyo 2020.
