Харківський музей дитинства. Воєнні хроніки Ще однією легендою воєнного Харкова став Валерій Лейко, творець унікального Музею дитинства, улюбленого місця для харківських дітей і їхніх батьків. Тут проводилися цікаві зустрічі, екскурсії, про музей знали й за межами України. У контексті дитинства тут розглядалися історія стародавніх цивілізацій, природа, твори мистецтва… А коли в Харків увірвалася війна, перетворивши місто на пекло та заставивши людей жити в бомбосховищах, і від неї насамперед страждали саме діти, Валерій Лейко вже наступного дня пішов до них як волонтер-викладач. І ходив до бомбосховища щодня: під пострілами, вибухами, авіаційними нальотами… Брав монети, марки, інші цікаві речі зі свого музею та розповідав — про історію, культуру, про все, що знав і що могло хоч якось розрадити, допомогти їм хоча б на якийсь час відпочити від страшних реалій. Із часом локацій, куди ходив Валерій, і, відповідно, дітлахів ставало все більше. Kharkiv Museum of Childhood. Military chronicles Another legend of military Kharkiv was Valerii Leiko, the creator of the unique Museum of Childhood, a favorite place for Kharkiv children and their parents. Interesting meetings and excursions were held there, and people knew about the museum outside of Ukraine. In the context of childhood, the history of ancient civilizations, nature, works of art were shown there… And when the war broke out in Kharkiv, turning the city into hell and forcing people to live in bomb shelters, children were the first to suffer from it. Valery Leiko went to them the next day as a volunteer and a teacher. And he went to the bomb shelter every day: under shots, explosions, air raids… He took coins, stamps and other interesting things from his museum and told about history, culture, everything he knew and could somehow сonsole, help kids to rest from the terrible realities for at least some time. Over time, the locations where Valery went, and, accordingly, children became more and more. This is another wonderful mini-film of Studio Tviland 1, created with the support of the NGO “Poruch”, about the unbreakable Kharkiv and its heroic inhabitants, which was also authored and directed by Tetiana Babina from Kharkiv.
