Тренінг «Молодіжні працівники за Мирну трансформацію конфліктів» був проведений CET Bulgaria NGO з 12 по 20 листопада 2019 року в Пампорово, Болгарія. Усього в ньому взяли участь 26 молодих людей з 9 країн — Болгарії. Греції, Вірменії, Азербайджану, Північної Македонії, Грузії, Сербії, Румунії та України.
Нашу країну на цьому цікавому й вельми потрібному та надзвичайно актуальному заході представляли юні волонтери громадської організації «ВГО «Поруч».
Головною метою проєкту було зібрати разом представників молодіжних організацій з «критичних» країн Європи, сучасний розвиток яких пов’язаний з конфліктами та напругою в суспільстві; а також надати молодіжним працівникам необхідних знань, умінь і розробити правильний підхід до трансформації конфліктів.
Критерієм відбору до участі в навчанні став той факт, що кожна з країн-учасниць проєкту переживає внутрішні або зовнішні конфлікти (наприклад, диспут стосовно назви між Північною Македонією та Грецією, територіальні конфлікти між колишніми югославськими країнами, історичні суперечки між Болгарією та Північною Македонією, військові дії на сході України тощо).
Методика тренінгу була побудована на моделі «навчання через досвід» і містила дебати, симуляції, руханки, комунікаційні ігри, групові дискусії, заняття на природі. Під час впровадження проєкту учасники відвідали молодіжний центр у місті Смолян, де місцеві молодіжні працівники поділилися досвідом про те, як збирати кошти та функціонувати з дуже обмеженим бюджетом.
The training course “Youth Workers for Peaceful Conflict Transformation” was held by CET Bulgaria NGO between 12-20 November 2019 in Pamporovo, Bulgaria. There were 26 participants from 9 countries: Bulgaria, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Northern Macedonia, Greece, Serbia, Romania and Ukraine.
The representatives from Ukraine were young volunteers of NGO “Poruch”.
The main goal of the project was to bring together representatives of youth organizations coming from these “critical” countries of Europe that have been associated with persistent conflicts and accumulated tension for decades and to provide youth workers with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes related to the transformation of conflicts.
Thus the criterion for this particular choice was the involvement of the participating countries in internal and external conflicts and a struggle for independence (for example, the dispute over the name of Macedonia with Greece, the territorial conflicts between the former Yugoslav countries, historical dispute between Bulgaria and Macedonia, the military conflict on the east of Ukraine).
The program methods were based on the “learning through experience” model and included debates, simulations, energizers, ice-breakers, communication games, learning and sharing activities, meditations, group discussions, coaching sessions, open space, etc.
During the project participants visited the youth center in Smolyan where local youth workers shared their experience on how to fundraise and operate with very limited budget.
One of the most valuable exercise on this training course was conflict discussions and presentations, during which the participants were divided into groups to discuss the most relevant conflict for them. There were groups which discussed general conflicts, like business vs ecology or intrapersonal conflicts, but there were also groups discussing highly sensitive conflicts: between Greece and Northern Macedonia and between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The participants showed that a peaceful dialogue between youth is possible.
